Farmers can take advantage of this premium by registering with GRP and providing crop input information.

This carbon sequestering microbe can be applied in starter, on the seed coat, or in furrow. Farmers receive product at zero cost and receive $10 per acre for application, field access for soil sampling, and basic crop input information. Fields enrolled must be above a 6.4 ph level and have had no lime in the last year and a half.
EQIP
This USDA/NRCS program allows farmers to conserve natural resources on working landscapes while maintaining or improving production. This program offers funding eligibility on structural, vegetative, and management practices. Follow this link to learn more:

Truterra Cover Crop Financial Assistance
Truterra Cover Crop
Status: Open
This program offers financial assistance for implementing cover crops and no-till practices. Farmers can enroll up to 500 acres for new practice no-till and/or cover crop. Reimbursement for cover crop addition will pay $80 while addition of no-till will pay $20.

Truterra Carbon
Truterra Carbon

Earn up to $30 per metric ton of carbon produced from fields where cover crop or no-till practices have recently been adopted. Crop input information ranging from 2018 to 2024 will be requested.

Indigo Carbon
Indigo Carbon​

Farmers market carbon generated by a practice change such as converting to no-till or adding/improving cover crop. Carbon payout is calculated per ton of carbon. Adopting a new practice creates credit generating eligibility for 10 years. The new practice is not required to occur after the first year.
