GRP Charities
At GRP, we believe that improving childhood nutrition starts at the source. That’s why we established GRP Charities—to bring greenhouses and resources into schools, teaching students of all ages how to grow their own nutrient-dense foods using sustainable practices. We recognize that not everyone has access to affordable, healthy food options, and our goal is to empower children to take control of their nutrition by utilizing the resources available to them.
Our initiatives go beyond simply connecting consumers with growers; we are committed to educating children about making informed food choices. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, we introduce greenhouses and hands-on growing experiences in urban settings. By providing education and resources through these charitable collaborations, we help children and families overcome barriers to healthy eating, no matter their location or financial situation.

At the core of all our efforts is GRP’s commitment to "A Mission That Matters," driving our passion to make a positive impact on childhood nutrition and ensure a healthier future for all.

Greenhouse Projects
Sterling High School
In early 2023, GRP constructed its first pilot greenhouse at Sterling High School in Sterling, KS with the help of an area sponsor. This greenhouse will be used to exemplify the rough cost and time commitment required to construct these structures at schools. The school plans to utilize its greenhouse through its Family and Consumer Sciences classes and extra-curricular clubs to generate food to consume in the school cafeteria as well as plants to sell for fundraising opportunities.
